Hi I’m Georgina…
Welcome to my travel blog! Family and friends reading this will know I’m not the best at staying in contact whilst abroad (sorry mum!) In documenting my travels online, I’m hoping to change this. So, for those keeping tabs, you can remain assured I’m alive and well through glimpses into the places I go and associated memories.
For everyone else, my posts provide a unique perspective of global cities as well as tips and resources to help you plan your own adventures. I feel very privileged to have been able to explore and even live within other parts of the world. Travelling has provided many opportunities to immerse myself in new cultures, breathtaking nature, meet friends, share experiences and find moments of joy. Whilst I’m not an expert traveller, still slowly finding my feet, hopefully my insights will show that travelling doesn’t have to be intimidating, complicated or expensive.
So, stay tuned because postcards are pending!

My Travel Tips & Insights
Beyond my digital postcards filled with reflections from destinations I’ve visited, you’ll also find posts that explore different ways to travel. From navigating solo female travel to dynamic group trips, I’ll discuss travelling on a budget, as well as sharing packing notes, checklists and flexible itineraries to ease pre-trip anxieties. Whether you’re thinking about a quick city break or organising something bigger, my aim is to share information which helps you feel prepared, inspired and ready to make the most of every trip you plan!

Italy in 14 Days: A Budget-Friendly Travel Guide
Thinking about visiting Italy but not sure where to begin? This two-week itinerary was the first one I ever planned, back when my friend and I decided we wanted a long yet affordable activity-filled holiday. It covers cities including Naples, Rome, Florence and Venice and can easily be tailored to suit your own travel style!

A 6 Week Plan for Backpacking Australia’s East Coast
At the end of my study exchange, I was lucky enough to spend six weeks travelling along Australia’s East Coast before heading back to the UK. Instead of the traditional Sydney to Cairns route, I decided to go in reverse, even squeezing in a trip to New Zealand for Christmas and celebrating the New Year watching Sydney’s fireworks! I’ve put together my route, along with hostel and transport recommendations, to help anyone planning a similar trip.
